HYDERABAD, Aug 6: The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Hyderabad, on Monday announced the result of HSC-II, annual examination, 2002, of humanities group.

Out of 3,746 regular and 2,321 private candidates, 1,686 regular and 1,146 private candidates were declared successful while the result of 52 regular and 29 private candidates was withheld for various reasons.

The pass percentage on the whole remained at 46.67.

Among male students, Rafique Ahmad, son of Ghulam Hussain, secured fist position while Abdul Moeed, son of Abdul Haleem, and Abdul Shakoor, son of Mohammad Sharif, secured second and third position respectively.

The position holder boys were students of the Shah Waliullah Oriental Government College, Mansoorah.

Among girls students, Saima, daughter of Ghulam Qadir, of the Government Girls College, Hyderabad, secured first position while Sajida Begum, daughter of Qadir Ali, of the Government Girls College, Sanghar, and Hina Hassan, daughter of Hassan Ali, of the Government Islamia Girls Higher Secondary School, Nawabshah, secured second and third position respectively.

ISC exams: The controller of semester examinations, University of Sindh, has announced for the information of students of the Institute of Scientific Management, Hyderabad, that the last date for submission of semester examination forms has been fixed as Aug 15.

The candidates have been advised to enclose the enrolment card, eligibility certificate (in case candidate passed last examination from other board/university), three passport size photographs, marks certificate of last qualifying examination and two photostat copies of National Identity Card with the examination forms.

The controller has also announced the positions of the candidates of MCom, final, college side, annual examination of 2,000 held in 2,001.

Syed Mohammad Ali, son of Syed Shahadat Ali, has secured first position, Mohammad Waseem, s/o Mohammad Muslim Shaikh, secured second position and Noureen Hassan, daughter of Mir Hassan Syed, secured third position.

The controller has also announced the results of postgraduate and improver/failure, Diploma in Library Science and Information Science, semester examination 2,001.
