Policeman kills sister

SANGHAR, Aug 5: A police constable, Krishan Meghwar, shot his widow sister, Bhagwani, 35, dead with his official rifle in Nizamani Para here on Monday.

Later, he surrendered at the Sanghar police station where he had been posted. The police have registered a murder case after the post mortem of the body.

The accused had suspected that her sister had maintained illicit relations with somebody.

MARI: There are strong rumours in the district that bandit Mumtaz Mari has been killed by Khosa tribesmen to take revenge of the murder of ASI Mohammad Ali Khoso.

The ASI was killed by Mari in the encounter near Anwar Qureshi village on Saturday.
