MIRANSHAH, Aug 4: The local tribesmen and the official machinery, including the political administration and military and paramilitary forces stationed in different parts of the North Waziristan Agency, have been facing acute difficulties as the electricity supply remained suspended for the seventh consecutive day on Saturday.

Power supply was suspended after some miscreants blew up the main high voltage Bannu-Miranshah transmission line on the third day of a protest launched by the tribesmen of Mir Ali Tehsil against frequent loadshedding in the last week of July.
