KARACHI, Nov 6: Noted religious scholar Dr Ghulam Murtaza Malik has stressed the need for following the life and teachings of the Holy Prophet Mohammad (PBUH).

Speaking to students at the Government National College, he said in the prevailing circumstances where anti-Islamic forces were active against Muslims, the Muslims salvation lies in following the Seerat of the Holy Prophet.

He appreciated the faculty members and students and felt that the college was imparting a proper education and was preparing students for a future leadership.

College principal Prof F M Nazir thanked Dr Malik for sparing time to address the students.

The lecture was arranged in connection with the students week celebrations at the college.

Roo-Baroo, a question-answer show, and other events will be held from Nov 12 in which some former students famous in various fields have also been invited.
