KARACHI: Debating contest on 15th

KARACHI, Nov 6: The second phase of the 7th All Pakistan Inter University Debating Contest would be organised at the NED University of Engineering and Technology on November 15, it was learnt officially.

The competition would be held on the provincial level, wherein all private and public sector universities and degree awarding institutes would participate. The final round of the competition for award of the Allama Iqbal Shield 2001 would be held by the end of year in Islamabad.

The topic of the second phase debating competition is: “Education, not the media builds national cohesion in youth”. The competition would be held in English and Urdu languages for selection of the top three position holders who would be given prize money separately in both languages, said sources.
