MIRPURKHAS, Sept 30: Former federal minister and central leader of Pakistan People’s Party, Nawab Mohammad Yousuf Talpur has called upon President Pervez Musharraf to handle the present crisis with a rationale approach.

The PPP leader and member of the party’s central executive committee said the country was passing through a grave situation and it needed proper handling to steer it out of the present situation, the PPP leader said in a statement issued here on Sunday.

In this regard, Mr Talpur suggested that People’s Party leadership could offer a genuine solution, as it was known for its moderate policy among the Muslim world. He also called for working innclose collaboration with the OIC.

He also called upon the president to constitute a neutral election commission for holding fair and free elections in the country to bring a true democratic setup and let the army concentrate on its sacred task of defending the country.
