Wargames conclude

ISLAMABAD, July 25: Wargames Sabit-Qadam-II on Thursday iculminated at a big musical evening at National Defence College with President Gen Pervez Musharraf as the chief guest, defence sources said.

The musical evening at which Iqbal Bano, legendary classical singer known for her contribution on revolutionary poet Fiaz Ahmed Faiz performed and was enjoyed by military top brass in the presence of the Chief Army of Staff.

The musical evening continued well after mid night and the entire police force of Islamabad remained alert. The traffic on Main Margala road remained suspended with police mobiles on the move.

It was the second musical evening graced by President Musharraf during the last one week. Earlier he had attended a musical night arranged to mark the launching of Human Development Commission.
