President opens FM-101 network

ISLAMABAD, July 25: President Gen Pervez Musharraf on Thursday inaugurated the FM-101 network of Radio Pakistan.

The network will link Islamabad, Lahore, Karachi, Peshawar, Quetta, Hyderabad, Faisalabad and Sialkot stations of FM-101.

The president appreciated the role of Radio Pakistan in nation-building and creating awareness among masses about government’s policies on national issues.

He addressed the youth through FM-101 and urged them to elect honest and efficient candidates in the elections.

Pakistan Broadcasting Corporation Director-General Tarique Imam also spoke.—APP
