PESHAWAR, July 23: The Sarhad Petroleum Cartage and Dealers Association, NWFP, has called upon the provincial government to order postponement of the demolition of petrol pumps on the Ring Road flyover along both sides of G. T. Road to Sooray Pull in the city.

At a joint meeting, held here on Tuesday, the association urged the government to stop the city administration from demolishing the petrol pumps until the Peshawar High Court takes a decision on a writ petition, challenging the drive.

The meeting, attended by the association members and regional chairmen, discussed the problems of the petrol pumps owners on G. T. Road.

It took notice of the demolition of petrol pumps without any notice, and called for the postponement of the drive against encroachments.
