DIVISION ONE

At Canterbury: Surrey won by two wickets. Kent 374 (A.Symonds 118, D.Fulton 62, R.Key 57; Saqlain Mushtaq 5-122, I.Salisbury 4-59) and 260 (R.Key 68, A.Symonds 51; Saqlain Mushtaq 4-60). Surrey 225 all out (A.Hollioake 122 not out; M.Saggers 5-66, A.Khan 4-91) and 410-8 (I.Ward 168 not out, R.Clarke 66, Saqlain Mushtaq 60). Surrey 16 points, Kent 7 points.

At Headingley: Match drawn. Yorkshire 515-5 declared (D.Lehmann 187, A.McGrath 165) and 124-7 (G.Chapple 3-20). Lancashire 478 (A.Swann 128, J.Wood 64, G.Chapple 60, G.Keedy 57, S.Law 51).

DIVISION TWO

At Derby: Nottinghamshire won by one wicket. Derbyshire 353 (M.Di Venuto 91, C.Bassano 83, A.Gait 76; N.Boje 4-45) and 209 (A.Gait 53; N.Boje 5-66). Nottinghamshire 240 (K.Pietersen 103 not out, U.Afzaal 58; D.Cork 4-55; M.Dowman 3-16) and 323-9 (J.Gallian111 not out).

At Cheltenham: Glamorgan won by two wickets. Gloucestershire 438 (C.Taylor 126, J.Russell 84, I.Fisher 79) and 293 (C.Spearman 180 not out; S.Jones 4-67); Glamorgan 415 (M.Maynard 140, M.Wallace 69) and 320-8 (M.Maynard 118 not out, S.James 74; I.Fisher 3-111, M. Ball 3-93).—Reuters
