JHANG, July 23: The Punjab Professors and Lecturers Association, Jhang chapter, held a protest meeting at the Government Degree College for Women in protest against the denationalization of educational institutions.

Speakers, condemning the denationalization policy, said the government under the pressure of the World Bank and the IMF was bent upon to privatize everything. They said by privatizing educational institutions, the quality education would be made inaccessible to the students belonging to the poor class.
