Cash wagon looted

GUJRANWALA, July 22: Dacoits looted cash wagon of a multinational company and injured its employee near SSP’s office here on Monday.

According to details, multinational company’s manager Asim Gulzar was going to Habib Bank’s Civil Line branch with his assistant Muhammad Shahbaz in a wagon (No STN 9386). Two men on a motorcycle, without a registration number plate, intercepted the wagon near the SSP office. The dacoits snatched Rs300,000 from them and beat up Shahbaz when he resisted.

The injured was taken to the civil hospital.

Police registered the case and are investigating.

COACHMAN KILLED: A coachman was hammered to death while his mother was injured by six people in Dherewali village on Monday.

Muhammad Shahbaz was siting in the compound of his house when the accused came there and they attacked him with hammer and clubs. They killed him on the spot and injured his mother Inayat Bibi when she came to rescue her son.

Ferozewala police registered the case with no arrest.
