Saqlain scoops nine in a match

LONDON, July 21: Pakistan’s Saqlain Mushtaq claimed nine wickets against Kent but Surrey were in a danger of losing its four-day English County Championship match Sunday.

Saqlain, who bagged five for 122 in the first innings, added another four wickets for 60 for match figures of 182.

Surrey, who conceded a 114-run first innings lead, were 264 for seven a stumps on the penultimate day after being set a victory target of 379.

Another Pakistan allrounder Abdul Razzaq was also in fine form capturing seven for 133 for Middlesex against Essex. But the game ended in a draw.
