ISLAMABAD, July 20: Bangladesh national boxing squad may train with the Pakistani pugilists for this year’s Asian Games in Busan, South Korea.

A request is lying with the federal ministry of sports to allow the Bangladeshi boxers to train with the Pakistani boxers for the Games in September-October.

Pakistani High Commissioner in Bangladesh was contacted by the officials of the Bangladesh Boxing Association to allow their pugilists to spar with the Pakistani boxers.

President of Pakistan Amateur Boxing Federation, Prof. Anwar Chowdhry, had requested to the Pakistan Sports Board which communicated the ministry of sports. The ministry is likely to approve idea.—APP
