KARACHI, July 20: The Karachi Water and Sewerage Board (KWSB) managing-director, Brig Muhammad Bahram Khan, is being transferred to the General Headquarters (GHQ), Rawalpindi, where he will be assigned job in the office of director-general (engineers), it is reliably learnt.

Brig Bahram Khan, who will resume his new assignment in the first week of August, had taken charge of KWSB managing-director in January 2000.

During his tenure, financial and administrative position of the water board was strengthened and an additional 10mgd water supply project, at a cost of Rs6 billion, was initiated, which is under completion.
