ISLAMABAD, July 18: The international governing body of squash, the WSF has rescheduled the World Junior Championship being held in the Indian city of Chennai for Dec 3 to 14.

A spokesman for the Pakistan Squash Federation said Thursday that the WSF had intimated them about the new schedule which will see the individual event running between Dec 3 and 9 and the team competition slated for Dec 10 to 14.

The WSF has also informed the PSF that players who were 19 years of age on July 7, 2002, would be eligible to compete in the championship.

The world junior championship, originally scheduled for Aug 13 to 24, was postponed till December because of tensions between India and Pakistan.
