ISLAMABAD, July 17: President Gen Pervez Musharraf attended the 10-day-long war games at the National Defence College (NDC) on Wednesday for the second day running.

The games are being held as part of the on-going up-gradation and professional development of the armed forces.

All the three services chiefs and senior military leaders are participating in what is being termed “unprecedented war games” in the history of Pakistan.

The war games are aimed at validating the existing plans of the armed forces. They, according to the Inter-Services Public Relations Directorate (ISPR), form the logical culmination of the process of preparation and training of various formations to get them in peak operational condition to face any and all challenges that may materialise in the future.
