KARACHI, Aug 8 Fine bowling by Fahad Jabbar helped UC-3 Kharadar beat UC-11 Kehkashan by eight wickets in the final of the Saddar Town Inter-UC Twenty20 cricket tournament at the Aga Khan Gymkhana ground here the other day.

Leg-spinner Fahad claimed three wickets for nine runs as Kehkashan were dismissed for 81. Opener Mohammad Ali then scored an unbeaten 43 to guide Kharadar home with six overs to spare.

Nazim of Saddar Town, Mohammad Dilawar, who was the chief guest, presented the winners' trophy and Rs50,000 to Kharadar skipper Nasir Lodhi while Kehkashan captain Wadood Alam collected the runners-up trophy and Rs25,000.

Speaking on the occasion, Dilawar announced that Rs5 million has been allocated by the local government for the construction of a new cricket stadium in Saddar Town.
