KARACHI, July 15: Adnan Khan and Yasir Khan lifted U-18 and U-14 boys singles crown of the Karachi Club Open junior tennis championship played Monday.

Adnan after winning the first 6-3 was extended all the way in the gruelling second set by a tenacious Asim Ahmed to finally win 7-6 after the tie-break.

But the U-14 final went to full distance as Yasir having won the first set 6-3 lost the second by the same score against Danish Ahmed. He however fought back to clinch the final winning the final set 6-4.

Later Adnan completed a fine double when he in partnership with Asim outclassed the combination of Yasir and Arsalan Shaikh in straight sets 6-1, 6-4 in the U-18 doubles final.
