PTF constitutes nine committees

ISLAMABAD, July 15: The president of Pakistan Tennis Federation (PTF) Syed Dilawar Abbas, has approved a number of committees to ensure efficient running of affairs.

The selection committee is headed by Khawaja Saeed Hai with A Samad Khan, Nasir Munir, Rashid Malik, Omer Rashid and Jameel Ahmed as members.

The junior selection committee sees Nasir Munir at the helm and has Mushaf Zia, Aman Asghar, Muhammad Khalid, Mehboob Khan and Hamidul Haq.

Brig Khalid Sajjad Khokhar is the chairman of the five-man disciplinary committee that includes A. Samad Khan, Fayyaz Bashir, Capt. Zafar and Group Capt. Anjum.

Prominent coach Mahboob Khan in on the development committee that also has Khalid Rehmani, Sikander Ajam, Mrs Nighat Agha, Mushaf Zia, Hamid Niaz and Haroon Rasheed.

The following are the other committees:

Tournament committee- Pervaiz Bajwa, Arif Qureshi, Asif Akhtar Alvi, M. Khalil, Khalid Rehmani and Khalid Ikram.

Sponsorship/fund-raising committee: Dr. Saira S. Khan, Fayyaz Bashir, A. Samad Khan.

Constitution committee- A. Samad Khan, Fayyaz Bashir, Saeed Qureshi, A. Jamal Mirza, Mrs. Shaheen Khan.

Finance committee- A. Samad Khan, Arif Qureshi, Mrs. Saheen Khan, M. Khalil.

Medical committee-Dr. Khawaja Rasheed, Dr. Imran Sikander, Dr. Haroon, Dr. Jawad Chishtie.
