KARACHI: Demo against fee hike

KARACHI, July 14: Students belonging to the Islami Jamiat Talaba on Sunday staged a protest demonstration in front of Karachi Press club against increase in fees of medical education and reduction of seats in medical colleges.

The protesters were chanting slogans against the unprecedented increase in fees and reduction of seats in medical colleges.

They urged the government to restore merit seats and called for initiating probe into cases of admissions sought on fake documents in medical colleges.—PPI
