KARACHI, July 14: Although the University of Karachi has managed to get stay order from the Sindh High Court against activities of its teachers, officers and employees’ welfare associations, the situation may aggravate after commencement of classes from Monday.

Presently, the KU has crossed swords with the Karachi University Teachers’ Society, Officers Welfare Association and Employees’ Welfare Association for their alleged unlawful political-oriented activities.

Opening fronts against so many adversaries, including students, may become a headache for the vice-chancellor.

According to the university sources, the students are having consultations with teachers and employees associations to launch a combined campaign against the university high-ups.—PPI
