ABBOTTABAD: PO killed in ‘encounter’

ABBOTTABAD, July 12: A proclaimed offender (PO) was killed in an encounter with police and four others were arrested, here on Friday. The police also recovered three Kalashnikovs, two pistols and ammunition from those arrested.

Abbottabad SSP Iqbal Mehmood, after receiving a report about the POs deputed a police party that raided a marriage ceremony in the Havelian sub-division.

The outlaw killed was one Shamreez and those arrested are: Abdul Qayyum, Mohammad Yousaf, Khalil and Sadiq.
