PESHAWAR, July 8: A three-day Teacher Training Workshop for the teachers of the Army Public Schools of the NWFP was conducted at the Army Public School and Degree College on Monday.

The workshop was inaugurated by Brig Niaz Kausar. He stressed the need to train teachers for improving the quality of teaching. He said these workshops could be very useful for the teachers, adding that for the first time the Army Public Schools had conducted a workshop with the cooperation of the Oxford University Press in Peshawar.

Earlier, the Director of the Army Education, Brig Maqbool Ahmad, spoke and highlighted the significance of such workshops. He said that a trained teacher could impart knowledge to his students in the best possible way. He said that a teacher should not only impart knowledge but also inspire his students.

Many male and female teachers from different districts participated in the workshop. Teachers from Kohat, Risalpur, Nowshehra, Bannu, DI khan and other districts participated.
