LAHORE Top tennis star Aisam-ul-Haq defeated Slovakian Marek Semjan in the first round of South Korea's Busan Open ATP Challenger Championship.

This largest Korean international tennis championship is being played on the hard courts of Geumjeong Tennis Stadium in Busan, said a message received here on Wednesday.

Marek had no answer to Aisam's strong serve and volley attacks and his serve was broken easily by Aisam in two sets which he grabbed with 6-3, 6-4 score in just over an hour.—APP
