SUKKUR: School schemes

SUKKUR, July 4: An amount of Rs24.5 million will be spent on three on-going schemes of school buildings in Sukkur District during the Annual Development Programme 2002-2003.

According to an official handout issued on Thursday, Rs3.5 million will be spent on opening of community-supported schools, Rs12 million on upgrading primary schools to middle schools and Rs9 million on the construction of buildings for the existing primary schools in the district.

BISE: The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE), Sukkur, announced the results of the Board’s Merit Scholarship Sukkur Award for Rs200 per month tenable for two years.
