SC urged to take suo motu notice of gang rape

ISLAMABAD, July 2: The Supreme Court’s chief justice has been asked to take notice of the gory incident in a village of Muzaffargarh where a teenaged girl was gang-raped on the verdict of a Panchayat.

Advocate Zulfiqar Ahmad Bhutta on Tuesday submitted an application requesting the chief justice of Pakistan to take suo motu notice of the incident.

The advocate attached the news clippings with his application.— Staff Reporter
