SHEIKHUPURA, July 1: Six people were injured when a pick-up fell into a roadside ditch on Shah Kot Sangla Road here on Monday.
A pick-up carrying some 18 people was on its way when its tie-rod failed and it fell into a ditch. Six people, including Sakina Bibi, Nausher, Azmat, Gulshan and Boota, sustained critical injuries and were rushed to hospital.
LIFE-TERM: The additional district and sessions judge awarded life term to two convicts in a murder case.
According to the prosecution, Arshad and Qaisar had murdered one Wazir Ahmad Cheema some time back.
