Vet training for jobless youths

SARGODHA, June 30: The local Livestock department will launch a three-month veterinary training programme for the educated unemployed youths in rural areas from July 1.

Trainees will be selected from each tehsil of the district in equal numbers. The selected candidates will be imparted training at Baghtanwala, Sillanwali, Bhalwal and Animal Breading centres in Sargodha.

With the completion of training, the Punjab government will award certificates after conducting test of each candidate. Successful trainees can be able to seek job as veterinary workers.—APP
