MUZAFFARABAD, June 30: Azad Jammu and Kashmir acting prime minister Syed Mumtaz Ali Gilani has said that the unprecedented sacrifices being offered by the Kashmiri people will promise them freedom.
He said this, while speaking as the chief guest of a ceremony, held in connection with a one-day free medical camp at a Kashmiri refugee camp in Manak Payan near here on Sunday.
Mr Gilani paid tributes to the Kashmiri people for continuing their struggle to achieve their right to self-determination.
The medical camp was organized by the Human Community Welfare Society to provide free medicines and consultation to the ailing refugees.
The acting AJK premier urged NGOs, specially the world human rights organizations, to focus on the welfare of the needy.
He announced that a road, leading to the camp, would be built.—APP
