The session was held to nominate chairmen for 16 committees of the district council.

Nazims of the Awam Dost Panel including Abdul Waheed Abbasi, Abdul Rauf Khanzada, Per Bux Ujjan, Abid Talpur, Munawar Baid, Fatah Abbasi, Pir Kawal, Shakeel, Mumtaz Shah, Abrar Shah, and Ahmed Nawaz Bhurut demanded for nominating chairmen of some committees from the Awam Dost Panel also, but the majority holding membership of the Jatoi-Syed Ittehad, did not agree to it.

All the eleven Nazims of the Awam Dost Panel staged a walk out and protested against the selection of chairmen of committees from only the ruling group.

They threatened to resign if the Awam Dost panel was not given representation in the chairmanship of committees.
