Judgment reserved in Riba case

ISLAMABAD, June 22: The Supreme Court on Saturday reserved its verdict on a review petition filed by UBL in Riba case. The federal government had supported the UBL’s review petition saying the implementation of the Riba judgement was not possible without risking the country’s economy.

The SC’s Sahriat Appellate Bench comprised Chief Justice Sheikh Riaz Ahmed, Justice Munir A Sheikh, Justice Qazi Mohammad Farooq, Justice Dr Khalid Mehmood and Justice Dr Rashid Ahmed.
