Two women kidnapped

SUKKUR, June 19: Two women were kidnapped from the Dubli village, near Ubaro, on Wednesday.

At least 17 armed men barged into the house of Gul Sher Chachar, opened indiscriminate fire injuring Mr Gul and Misri Chachar.

They then kidnapped five people: Murid Chachar, Misri Chachar, Hakeema, Susi, and a boy, Farman.

The police said the kidnapping had been done over a matrimonial dispute between two groups of the Chachar tribe.

It was learnt from reliable sources that the kidnappers later set free Mr Murid, Mr Misri, and Farman.

However, both the women were still with them.
