KARACHI, June 19: The Pakistan State Oil has announced gold medals for outstanding performance by students of six universities in the country.

The company will award gold medals to students declared first in MBA in any discipline from the Institute of Business Administration (IBA), Karachi, Lahore University of Management Science (LUMS), and Quaid-i-Azam University, Islamabad.

Gold medals will also be awarded to the top position-holders in mechanical engineering of the NED University of Engineering and Technology, Karachi, and the GIK Institute of Science and Technology, Topi.

The company will also honour every year one graduate in electrical engineering from the University of Engineering, Khuzdar, who is declared first in this discipline.

All the gold medals will accompany a cash award of Rs10,000 and a certificate of merit.—APP
