LONDON, June 17: Martina Navratilova accepts she is too old to be a mother but would like to adopt children, according to a magazine report.

The 45-year-old former Wimbledon champion, a self-declared bi-sexual, told Tuesday’s issue of the BBC programme magazine Radio Times: “The time when I could have my own children has passed.

“I could adopt a five-year-old, a brother and a sister, or two sisters. There are too many kids out there who want a home. It will happen when the time is right and I’ll be a good, fun mother.”—Reuters
