LAHORE, June 16: The manifesto committee of the PML-QA is due to meet in Islamabad on June 20.

The proposals of the committee will be presented to the party’s central working committee for approval.

Meanwhile, PML-QA President Mian Muhammad Azhar said on Sunday that the party, in cooperation with the allied parties, would promote politics targeted at prosperity of the country.

In a press statement, he said instead of involving itself in politics of confrontation, the PML-QA would play its role to put the country on the road to democracy.

He said that some political leaders through their irresponsible attitude were trying to influence the general elections. Such leaders should be held accountable by the people. He claimed that the PML-QA would emerge as the single largest party in the general elections and fill the vacuum.

About the unity among various factions of the PML, he said this was desired by everybody and the PML-QA would make it a reality.
