GILGIT, Oct 31: An estranged father axed his son to death and injured his daughter-in-law in Nasirabad, Lower Hunza the other day, police sources in Aliabad said.
According to sources one Qalamo, resident of Nasirabad, axed his son Aslam to death allegedly for disobedience.
Qalamo told the police that his son was an alcoholic and jobless for several years. An exchange of hot words between them led to Aslam’s death.
The sources said that Qalamo also attacked his son’s wife with the same axe when she came to her husband’s help. She was admitted to hospital and the police have lodged an FIR.
