Two killed, 10 hurt in wagon crash

VEHARI, Oct 31: Two persons were killed while 10 others sustained injuries in an accident on the Burewala-Lahore Road on Wednesday.

A Burewala-bound wagon coming from Arifwala hit a bus while trying to overtake it and rammed into a roadside tree. Wagon passengers Sarfraz of Vehari and Baqir Husain of Rahim Yar Khan died on the spot.

The injured identified as Abdul Hamid of Mailsi, Munir Ahmad of Burewala, Nasir and Sughran of Chak 511-EB, Maqsood Ahmad Shaikh, Munir Ahmad of Hasilpur and Anwar and Naziran of Arifwala were taken to the Tehsil Headquarters Hospital.

Two other injured were shifted to the Nishtar Hospital, Multan, due to their precarious condition.
