HYDERABAD, June 13: A comprehensive training programme for high school teachers during current summer vacations has been undertaken by the district education department.

This was stated by the EDO (education), Kazi Zamir Hussain, here on Wednesday while talking to a youth delegation led by Imdad Nasir.

Outlining the importance of teachers training, he stated that computer literacy training was being imparted to 40 male and 40 female HSTs in the first phase. The training, which started from June 3, concludes on June 15.

Laying emphasis on learning and teaching of the English language, the EDO said that 300 HSTs in the district were being trained at 10 centres.
