SARGODHA, June 10: The Sargodha District Bar Association voiced its concern on Monday over the abduction of Muhammad Imran, an MA student, for ransom and the failure of the police to trace him in 20 days.

The meeting was presided over by the Bar president, Rao Abdul Ghaffar Khan. The general secretary moved the resolution demanding setting up a special squad to recover the boy. It was adopted unanimously.

The kidnapped boy is son of Col Shah Muhammad (retired), a prominent citizen.

SCHOOL REGISTRATION: The Sargodha Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education has refused to register the co-education schools. The board had earlier allowed registration of such private schools but is now insisting on segregation and separate registration of schools. For the affected students, this can result in the loss of an academic year. For the school managements the decision is an extra burden since they must pay Rs50,000 per school for fresh registration.
