GUJRANWALA, June 6: A man caught in a theft case in 1997, is still in jail — but without trial.
Shahbaz Ahmad was arrested by Qila Dedar Singh police on Oct 27, 1997. He was not produced before any court by the police.
His family filed a petition in the Lahore High Court on which the court ordered the DSP (headquarters) to initiate his trial.
