PPP’s show-cause notice

Published May 4, 2002

NOWSHERA, May 3: The Pakistan People’s Party, Nowshera district, has issued a show-cause notice to former provincial minister Mian Jamal Shah Kakakhel over violating the party discipline.

According to a press release, the PPP leader had met President Gen Pervez Musharraf and assured him support without informing the party high command during his visit to Peshawar on April 23 in connection with the referendum rally.

The former PPP provincial minister has been asked to reply to the notice within seven days of its issuance and explain why disciplinary action should not be taken against him for betraying the party and violating the party discipline.
