KARACHI, May 2: At least ten vehicles — five cars and five motorcycles- were either hijacked or stolen from different parts of the city on Thursday.

Two cars were hijacked and three stolen, while three motorcycles were hijacked and two stolen from different parts of the city.

ROBBERIES: At least three armed holdups were committed in the city on Thursday.

A shopkeeper, Naseer Abbas, was looted of cash and valuables by bandits in Pak Colony. Some armed men barged into the shop of Arshad in Gulbahar and deprived him of cash and valuables. They escaped with the loot.

INJURED: Police said that Ayaz Khan, aged 15, was shot at and injured by his neighbour in Saeedabad on late Wednesday night. he assailant fled after the incident.

Police said that exchange of hot words over some petty issue resulted in the firing.
