HANGU, April 28: The Sarhad Rural Support Programme (SRSP) is a social developmental programme for the relief of the suffering people, Farooq Shah the in charge of the SRSP informed our correspondent here on Saturday.

This programme is working since 1990 to solve social problems of the people and helping people to support themselves through different schemes such as employment scheme, under this scheme loans are granted to people. This programme is also spending a large sum of money on health, cleanliness, drainage and supply of drinking water.

SRSP is working on 64 projects to eradicate poverty in the rural parts of our country. SRSP will spend Rs40 lakh in an employment scheme so that the common man would be able to support himself.

The in charge of the programme called upon the public to participate in social work with welfare organizations side by side.
