KARACHI: Two young men shot dead

KARACHI, April 23: Unidentified assailants shot two men to death and wounded another at a medical store in Orangi Town on Tuesday night.

Police said unidentified armed men, riding on a motorcycle, opened fire at Ali Medical Store in Qasba Colony, Orangi town.

The injured were rushed to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital where doctors pronounced two men, Nasir, aged 20, and Alay Raza Rizvi, aged 30, dead on arrival.

An injured youth, Fahd, aged 18, was admitted to the hospital where he was stated to be in serious condition.

The assailants escaped without facing any resistance from personnel of law-enforcement agencies, witnesses said.

Aggrieved and enraged relations of the victims and people residing in the area raised slogans at Abbasi Shaheed Hospital.

DIG Karachi Tariq Jamil said: “It is an act of terrorism. We are looking into the incident to ascertain whether the attack was sectarian motivated or not.”

KILLED: A young man was stabbed to death in a fight between two groups in Faizullah Goth in Mochko police limits on late Monday night.
