NAUSHARO FEROZE, April 21: A woman died in an operation theatre prior to her operation at the Civil Hospital Naushahro Feroze on Saturday.
The woman, Soon Khatoon, wife of Yar Mohammed, had been admitted to the hospital on April 10 for her kidney operation. She was taken to the operation theatre on Saturday for her operation where she was administered anaesthesia, but she died before she could be operated upon.
Her relatives held a demonstration against the doctors in the hospital. They went to the Naushahro Feroze police station and wanted an FIR to be lodged against the doctors concerned. They also observed token hunger strike.
Later, they took her body to their village.
The district Naib Nazim, Syed Hassan Ali Shah, assured that he would take a look into the matter.
The hospital doctors told this correspondent that the woman was already dead when she was being administered anaesthesia.
SEVEN INJURED: Seven people were injured in a clash between the Khanzada and Solangi tribes at Tharushah on Friday night.
Both the tribes had been fighting over a piece of land. They also started fighting on Friday as a result of seven people were injured. They were Tikka Khan Khanzada (a member of the union council Tharushah), Aijaz Khanzada, Aftab Solangi, Mujtaba Solangi, Shaiq Solangi, Adeel Solangi, and Fayaz Solangi.
They have been admitted to the health centre, Tharushah.
