SHIKARPUR, April 11: Two PAF officials were injured when a gang of highwaymen opened fire on their vehicle on the National Highway, near Sultankot, in the wee hours of Thursday.
The PAF officials names were ascertained as Flight Lieutenant Suhail Rana and Warrant Officer Rais Khan. They were headed for Jacobabad from Sukkur.
Both have been taken to the Civil Hospital Jacobabad.
VILLAGER KILLED: A man, Shahmeer Jagirani, was gunned down by his rivals while he was working in a field near the Raz Jagirani village on Thursday.
The Rustam police registered an FIR against Ali Hassan, Gul Hassan, Shahzad and nine other Jatoi tribesmen.
