PESHAWAR, April 5: The NWFP police has launched a website of Peshawar Capital City Police (PCCP) here on Friday, stating that the site will help general public in judging the performance of police.

Speaking at a Press conference here on Friday, the Inspector General of Police NWFP, Saeed Khan said the strength of police was much less than needed in view of the increase in population, but that they had been trying hard to maintain law and order.

About the website, he said it would introduce direct submission of traffic license form and other forms without visiting the concerned office. “Most wanted criminals will be announced on this site and it will help apprehend them,” he claimed.

Mr Khan said anti car-lifting cells would be invited to share data so that combine action should be taken against organised gangs.
