GUJRANWALA, April 4: A total of 9,569 candidates passed the middle standard annual examination 2002, showing a pass percentage of 62.74.
Speaking at a news conference here on Thursday, EDO education Dr Syed Sajjad Abid Jaffari said that 15,250 candidates appeared in the examination.
Husnain Iftikhar of the Government Higher Secondary School and Jamiatul Banat Gujranwala’s Saima Khizar were declared first with 781 marks each; Aneesa Shafiq of the Government Girl High School, College Road, second and Taimour Sikandar of the Government Jamia High School third with 777 and 774 marks respectively.
Dr Jaffari said that result cards have been dispatched to the students. They could contact EDO’s office if the cards were not received up to April 10.
