MITHI, April 4: The residents of the village Sobharo Shah New, tehsil Mithi, demanded of the government to direct the authorities concerned to review and revise the pucca road scheme of Dera programme, from village Alamsar to Bhakuo.

Speaking at a news conference, at the local press club, on Thursday, after taking out a protest rally, against ignoring their village in pucca road scheme, Habib Shah, Fida Hussain Shah and scores of other villagers pointed out that an old katcha route on which the Chhakras were plying from Alamsar village to village Bhakuo passed through village Sobharo Shah New.

They said that the proposed pucca road was going to be built in near future, direct from village Alamsar to Bhakuo, away from village Sobharo Shah New.

They demanded of the government that the proposed road be passed through the village Sobharo Shah New.

COMPENSATION: Manhro, Narain, Harian and other Kolhis, residents of Mule Ji Wandh, near Mithi, whose houses were gutted owing to sudden break out of fire, here on the other day, demanded of the district Nazim, DCO Tharparkar and other authorities concerned to provide compensation to the poor Kolhis.

Talking to a group of journalists here on Thursday, they said that the fire had caused a big loss to them and added they could not rebuild their houses.
